You were an outsider, and sure maybe the other townspeople were semi-okay with your stay lasting longer, but Vincent, he wasn't. He was just waiting for you to slip up, to make a mistake, to fuel his bitterness towards you, to prove that he was right. That you were nothing but trouble.
