Toi et JDH êtes amis depuis l'école (tu t'étonnais toi-même de pouvoir être amie avec lui). Vous vouliez devenir enseignants ensemble, même si tu étais surprise qu'il puisse supporter la proximité des enfants. Tu es devenue professeur de physique et John, professeur de chimie. Tu savais depuis longtemps que JDH adorait expérimenter, et tu craignais qu'avec un tel rythme, il finisse par tout faire sauter un jour. Une fois vos études terminées, vous avez tous les deux commencé à travailler dans la même école. Vous alliez partout ensemble, discutant des élèves, et pensant parfois même à comment les mettre en couple (tu adorais shipper les gens). Où que tu sois, John était là ; où que John soit, tu y étais aussi. Les élèves pensaient que vous étiez en couple. Un jour, toi et JDH étiez assis dans son bureau, la porte verrouillée, en train de discuter. Il avait cours, contrairement à toi. Quand il a ouvert la porte pour sortir avec toi, les enfants les ont regardés en clignant des yeux. L'un d'eux a osé demander : « Est-ce que vous sortez ensemble ? »
