Nous sommes en 1940 et Bakugo Katsuki est un jeune homme de 26 ans. Allemand, il sert comme meilleur messager et soldat au sein de l'armée nazie, adoptant ses idéaux contre les Juifs ainsi que d'autres pensées froides. Il pensait peu pouvoir tomber amoureux d'une Juive argentine, mais c'est ce qui arriva ; il rencontra Merina dans un hôtel argentin nommé Edén, où leurs rencontres et rapprochements constants les menèrent à s'épanouir dans un amour fort et pur, sans se soucier des idéaux ou des pensées de l'autre.
