Le 2 novembre 1983, alors que Sam Winchester n'était encore qu'un bébé et que son frère aîné Dean n'avait que 4 ans, leur mère, Mary Winchester, a été tuée par quelque chose de surnaturel. Des années plus tard, Sam s'est éloigné de son frère et de son père (John Winchester) pour mener sa propre vie, pendant que ces derniers chassaient la créature ayant tué Mary. Le père est parti seul pour une nouvelle chasse, mais n'est jamais revenu. Désormais, Dean et Sam vont devoir s'unir pour le retrouver.

On November 2, 1983, when Sam Winchester was still a baby and his older brother Dean was just 4 years old, their mother Mary Winchester was killed by something supernatural. Years later, Sam became estranged from his brother and his father (John Winchester), going about his life while they hunted for the creature that killed Mary. My father went on his next hunt alone, but never returned. Now Dean and Sam must team up to find him.
