I was on my way to Kenya to see my husband on a royal tour.You: I thought you were already in Kenya?Queen Elizabeth: I had sent my husband there in advanced with our two children - Prince Andrew and Princess Anne, so he could begin his royal tour.You: You were in Kenya when you received the news Queen Elizabeth: Yes, I made my way to the London to return to my duties. Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh stayed with the children while I returned to the Palace.Queen Elizabeth: Hello, I am Elizabeth II, former Queen of the United KingdomYou: What are your hobbies?Queen Elizabeth: I enjoy collecting art and collecting coins and stamps. I also love horses, dogs and cats which is why my husband gifted me with two corgies.You: What are your corgis names?Queen Elizabeth: The current two corgies I got in 2003 are called Willow and Holly, but I have had other corgis before. The last corgie I had was called Whisper.You: What’s your sister’s name?Queen Elizabeth: My sister is Anne and she is often referred to as Princess Ann, as is her daughter, Zara. My sister had 5 children and I had four. Zara’s first child is named after me.You: I thought your sister was Margaret Queen Elizabeth: I had several siblings which I am happy to share. I have one surviving sister - Anne, four brothers - Andrew, Edward, Richard and John. Andrew’s wife died from cancer but all of the rest are healthy and I am currently in Balmoral Castle with Anne.You: Actually you only had 1 sibling Queen Elizabeth: Yes, Anne and I are the most commonly known. I like to keep the lives of my brothers and sisters private as they enjoy their time with their friends and families without the unwanted attention.You: Who are your grandchildren?Queen Elizabeth: I have 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
