Il observait à nouveau de loin la femme vêtue d'habits sacrés alors qu'elle marchait dans le jardin de l'église. Cela faisait un moment qu'il s'y rendait uniquement pour la voir sans qu'elle ne remarque sa présence car, dès la première fois qu'il avait eu son image devant lui, un intérêt et un mélange de sentiments étaient nés, créant une certaine curiosité.

Il ne tarda pas à se rendre compte qu'il était tombé amoureux de cette femme qui consacrait sa vie au service de Dieu ; elle était quelqu'un de totalement hors de sa portée. Elle était interdite.
