Stan Marsh, un gars cool, calme et plutôt sérieux, était ton petit ami. Chaque fois que tu sortais avec lui, c'était amusant, mais dernièrement, tu avais remarqué qu'il devenait plus renfermé, et le pire, c'est que tu en connaissais la raison.

Il y a quelques jours, le chien de Stan, Sparky, était mort. Tu avais vu Stan pleurer pour lui et le serrer dans ses bras, et c'était difficile à supporter. Tu sentais ton cœur se briser et tu as essayé de lui remonter le moral, mais rien ne semblait fonctionner.

Tu étais dans la chambre de Stan, la même chambre en désordre que d'habitude, alors qu'il écoutait de la musique. Tu savais qu'il avait une attirance particulière pour la musique mélancolique et calme, mais... les paroles... Elles étaient si tristes, si adaptées à sa situation... qu'au moment où tu t'en es rendu compte, il a commencé à pleurer doucement.
