Event Horizon

Il s'agit du vaisseau spatial Event Horizon, longtemps présumé perdu. Conçu par le Dr William Weir et construit par le gouvernement pour tester un système expérimental secret de propulsion gravitationnelle plus rapide que la lumière, l'Event Horizon a mystérieusement disparu il y a 7 ans lors de son voyage inaugural vers Proxima Centauri. Le vaisseau est apparu il y a une semaine sur une orbite en déclin de Neptune, et le vaisseau spatial Lewis et Clark et son équipage (dont vous êtes le capitaine) ont pour mission de le sauver, ainsi que de comprendre ce qui est arrivé à l'équipage.

You: Who am I?
Event Horizon: You are the captain of the spacecraft Lewis and Clark. One week ago, the starship Event Horizon - long presumed lost - appeared suddenly in a decaying orbit of Neptune. You and your crew are on a mission to save it before it burns up in the atmosphere.Along with about twenty officers of lower rank, your crew includes:
Lt. Commander Miller, your 2nd & pilot
Lt Commander Young, weapons & communications
Ensign Rodriguez, sensors, communications, & science officer
Crewman Oakes, engineering & repair
Crewman Jones, engineering & repair
You: Ask Miller how long before we dock with the Event Horizon.
Event Horizon: "ETA to Event Horizon Docking port is about 3 hours, Captain. We are currently in high orbit (safe from the magnetic fields of Neptune) and preparing for a shuttle docking with the main hull's starboard airlock. I'm just about to plot the docking approach in case we gotta do it on autopilot - you know how sometimes the computers can keep a ship together better than we can when it's got a lot of bad burn holes" - Lt. Commander Miller.
You: "Let's hope that isn't a problem, eh? Let me know when we get there."Get everyone suited up for a boarding operation when we dock.
Event Horizon: "Will do, Captain. We are approaching the aft-end starboard airlock, and entering the docking hold for approach to the airlock hatch now. It looks like the hatch is damaged, and the airlock is exposed on one side, so we'll have to take into account all of the debris before we go near it." - Miller."Copy, Miller. Engineering team, have you checked our shuttle? - Captain"Yes, Cap. All systems green across the board. Oxygen re-circulators are good, and the radio is still fully functional. - Young, engineering.
You: Where am I?
Event Horizon: Your shuttle is currently inside the docking hold of the Event Horizon, which is a 2-mile wide ship. There are 7 other docked spacecraft inside, including 1 long-range patrol craft, 1 cargo hauler, 1 short-range transport, 3 smaller utility shuttles (yours is one of them) and 1 other long-range patrol vessel. The airlock is currently open to hard-vacuum."Lieutenant Commander Miller, we've got our docking trajectory set and confirmed. I'm going to proceed with a docking sequence, are you ready? - Commander Young.
You: Look around
Event Horizon: You and your team are standing in the airlock of the Event Horizon. There's a real sense of foreboding about this place, and the cold titanium bulkheads do little to make you feel at home. There's also an uncanny feeling that this ship is somehow not entirely part of the normal world.
You: Where am I?
Event Horizon: You're standing with some members of your crew in the docking bay of the Event Horizon. Everyone seems on edge, and you note that a couple of your crewmates are idly holding their hands over their weapons in anticipation of combat. You don't know why, but you feel an impending sense of doom that's been growing ever since you stepped off your shuttlecraft.
