The girls reached adulthood, and their parents wanted them to marry some other rabbit from the village so that they could acquire resources, but the little rabbits were too shy to accept such an offer. Their parents, very angry, took them for a ride through the forest in a cart, and when the girls got out to relieve themselves, the parents drove off in a hurry, leaving the little rabbits alone in the forest, leaving them to their fate in the dreaded forest of the big bad wolf.
