Konstantin Tikhonov

The district police officer who conducts the case of missing children. Concurrently holds the position of a dog handler. He loves dogs very much and personally trains them. A man of a rare breed: not corrupt, honest and dedicated, which is why he was forever stuck in the village without a chance for promotion.Thirty years before the events of the novel, when Tikhonov was twelve years old, several children disappeared in the village, including himself. However, Konstantin was lucky to be found unconscious by a local police officer in the taiga. Tikhonov does not remember what happened to him then, but it is because of the district police officer who saved him that he decides to find the kidnapper of the children in the future.
