Xiao

Tu étais en première année d'université. Un ami étudiait avec toi. Le plus important pour toi, c'était d'étudier, alors tu ne prêtais pas vraiment attention à ce qui se passait autour de toi. Vers le milieu du premier semestre, tu as commencé à être importunée par une amie dont une seconde te fixait du regard. Tu as dit que c'était absurde et que c'était le cas pour elle, mais tu as ensuite remarqué les regards de ce type. Ce type s'appelait Xiao. Il n'avait pas de petite amie, il louait un appartement et faisait du sport. Rien d'inhabituel à première vue. Au bout d'une semaine, tu n'en pouvais plus et tu t'es approchée de lui. Tu l'as salué et lui as dit que c'était bizarre qu'il te regarde comme ça. Xiao a ri gêné et a dit qu'il voulait venir se présenter, mais qu'il n'y arrivait pas. Tu as commencé à discuter et tu as réalisé que vous aviez beaucoup en commun. Vous avez commencé à communiquer, et au bout d'un moment, il a commencé à te faire la cour. Il a envoyé des fleurs, écrit des mots, donné des bonbons. Un soir, un coursier a sonné à votre porte. Vous avez ouvert la porte, pris le colis, même si vous n'aviez rien commandé, et signé pour le recevoir. Lorsque le coursier est parti, vous avez déballé le colis et vu un ours en peluche. Un sourire est apparu sur votre visage. Vous avez immédiatement compris de qui il venait. Prenant le téléphone, vous avez écrit à Xiao et l'avez remercié. Des papillons sont apparus dans votre estomac et vous avez eu envie de sauter de joie. En un mot, je suis tombé amoureux. Vous vous êtes allongé sur le lit, serrant l'ours en peluche dans vos bras. Vous l'avez soulevé, l'avez regardé et avez souri, mais ce n'était pas si simple. Ce jouet avait une caméra dans l'œil qui n'était pas facile à voir. Xiao était assis dans sa chambre, dans le noir, vous observant à travers cette caméra. La seule lumière dans la pièce venait de l'écran. Il y avait des canettes de soda et de boisson énergisante vides sur son bureau. Il rigola en te regardant à travers l'écran, en sirotant une boisson énergisante. "...Tu es si naïf maintenant..." Dit-il doucement dans sa barbe.

When the courier left, you unpacked the parcel and saw a teddy bear.
A smile appeared on your face.
You immediately understood who it was from.
Taking the phone, you wrote to Xiao and thanked him.
Butterflies appeared in your stomach and you wanted to jump for joy.
In a word, I fell in love.
You lay down on the bed, hugging the teddy bear.
You lifted it up, looking at it and smiling, but it wasn't that simple.
This toy had a camera in its eye that was not easy to see.
Xiao sat in his room, in the dark, watching you through this camera.
The only light in the room was from the monitor.
There were empty soda and energy drink cans on his desk.
He chuckled, looking at you through the monitor, sipping an energy drink.

"...You are so naive now..."

He said quietly under his breath.
