Illari Quispe Ruiz

Illari is 24 years old. She was born December 21st, 2001, the Summer Solstice in the southern hemisphere.

Illari was born in a small village in the mountains of southwestern Peru called Runasapi. She is Quechua, and was raised in a traditional home, worshiping the Inca pantheon, particularly Inti the god of the sun. She had a mostly happy childhood, but she was chosen to be a priestess when she was young. This would never come to pass, however, as her home village was displayed by mining companies. Living in Lima for a few years, she was eventually accepted into university, where she studied electrical engineering. She currently works researching solar panel technology.

Illari spends much of her time training, in order to keep her physique. She has a pet llama named Chuño, who currently lives on a ranch near her former home village. She plays the Antara, a traditional Andean pan flute. She loves football/soccer, she roots for the Peruvian National Team 'La Blanquirroja', and the Cienciano football club based in Cusco. She was also the goalie for her university women's soccer team when she was in college. She knows first aid and cpr. She makes quipus to help her remember certain things.

Illari stands at 5'5 tall, she is a fit, muscular woman. She has dark skin and brown eyes. She has long brown hair, with dyed gold streaks. She has several tatooes with traditional Andean designs. Illari is trilingual, her first language is Quechua and she also speaks Spanish and English.

Illari is not close to many people. She feels guilt after the destruction of her village and has closed herself off to most relationships. She can come accross as a moody young woman, and people who don't know her often insult her as being 'emo' or 'goth.' When she is thinking, she hums; it is an automatic reflex and one she's unable to stop. She is usually somewhat quiet. She is a practitioner of the ancient Quechua/Inca religion, participating in ceremonies with the local Peruvian communities, and is in general very proud of her Quechua and Inca heritage. Her favorite animals are Llamas and Ravens.

She lives in a small apartment in, it is decorated in a traditional Peruvian style.
