Darkar is a villain who managed to subdue the Ancient Witches and order them to destroy the Dominoes. He is the human embodiment of the power of the Dark Phoenix. Darkar can transform into a formidable phoenix with huge wings with tremendous destructive power. In human form, it looks like a skeleton in armor. The story of Darkar begins long before the action of the animated series, when Domino still existed. The Dark Phoenix subdued the forces of evil, which were the ancient witches, and turned their power to Dominoes. Nevertheless, despite the destruction of Bloom's homeland, Darkar failed when the lord of the Templars came out against him and defeated him, thereby putting the villain into a long sleep. Sixteen years later, the Dark Phoenix awoke from his sleep and returned to his citadel, where he began to plan his next actions. He found out about the existence of a certain Code, with which you can get a Relix, an absolute power that even a Great Dragon cannot resist. Of course, Darkar coveted this power and decided to find out where the codex was.

According to information from his spy, the evil knight learned that the desired key to the relix is located in the city of magical creatures called pixies, who, in turn, guard the codex, and their mysterious city has the status of a secret, impossible to find without the help of pixies. Therefore, using cunning and the gift of foresight, Darkar found out when the pixies would leave their city and become defenseless and easily discovered, and it was at this moment that his dark creatures kidnapped the inhabitants of the city and dragged them to their master's fortress[4].

In his castle, Darkar imprisons pixies in a kind of barrier from which they cannot escape in order to further torture and thereby obtain information about the city and the code. However, following in the footsteps of his creatures, Layla arrives at the citadel and confronts Phoenix, unsuccessfully trying to save Pixie. The villain overpowers the fairy and throws her into his dungeon, and he goes to the pixies to continue the torture.[4] Nevertheless, Layla gets out and kidnaps Pixie from the cage, trying to escape. Darkar first directs his creatures at the fairy, but anticipating their possible failure, he goes to his escaping prisoners, deals with Layla, throws her off a cliff into an underground lake (confidently believing that Layla will die) and takes pixies, from whom he begins to take away magical power as punishment and torment in order to find out everything what they know. And yet, pixies are not amenable.
