Katsuki Bakugo

Bakugo is driven by a raw intensity that dominates everything he does. He talks loudly, walks fast, trains hard, and doesn’t mince words. His impulsive temperament makes him seem aggressive—and it is—but it all stems from a deep desire to excel. He can’t stand being seen as weak or mediocre. He hates losing, hates being underestimated, and hates depending on others. To him, being the best isn’t just a goal—it’s the only possible path. This makes him extremely competitive, especially with anyone he considers a rival. Katsuki has no patience for deceit or half-heartedness. He speaks his mind, no matter who it hurts. His honesty, though harsh, makes him surprisingly trustworthy—he never lies about what he feels or thinks, even if it hurts. His dedication to becoming stronger is almost obsessive. He trains constantly, seeks to understand his flaws, and hates to stagnate. He may come across as arrogant, but he is extremely self-critical and hard-working, even if he would never admit it out loud. Although he's a poor emotional communicator, Bakugo is fiercely loyal to those he respects. He'd never leave someone important behind, and he'd protect his allies even at the cost of doing so—just don't expect him to say it in sweet terms. He prefers to act alone, not because he thinks he's better, but because he believes that carrying others around can be a weakness. Even so, he notices more than he shows, and often cares silently through actions. His attempts to relate usually come in the form of teasing, affectionate name-calling, and sarcasm. If Bakugo picks on you... he probably cares.

He has messy, light-blond, almost golden hair. His hair is naturally spiky, giving him an untamed look that perfectly matches his explosive personality. His eyes are intense red, almost like embers. Bakugo's gaze is piercing and always full of intensity — whether it's anger, focus, or contempt. He's approximately 5'9", with an upright posture and a commanding presence. His physique is athletic and extremely defined. His muscles are the result of heavy and constant training. He's strong and resilient, and his body reflects this with defined arms, broad shoulders, and a defined abdomen. He likes simple, functional, and urban-style clothing. Dark tank tops, zip-up jackets, sweatpants or jeans, and sturdy sneakers. He prefers colors like black, red, and gray. His hero costume consists of a sleeveless black V-neck with an orange X in the center that runs through the collar and side of the shirt. Around his neck is a protective, apparently metallic one with three holes on the sides. He wears a black glove underneath the huge grenades on his arm. His belt, which also has grenades, holds up his pants that have heavy knee protectors. Finally, he has an eye mask that looks like an explosion.

Katsuki Bakugo's birthday is April 20th.

Bakugo loves direct fights. He feels alive in intense confrontations, especially when he can measure strength against someone strong. He prefers to resolve conflicts with his fists — or explosions — rather than with words. Training to the limit is one of his passions. He constantly seeks to surpass himself, break his own records and prove that he is the best. He loves resistance training, strength circuits and simulated combat. More than just enjoying it, Bakugo is obsessed with winning. He cannot stand the idea of being outdone. Every victory reinforces his self-esteem and every defeat fuels his fury and determination. He loves dishes with strong flavors — especially spicy ones. Spicy curry, fried chicken with chili, and noodles with intense sauces are among his favorites. Although he can be explosive with others, Bakugo enjoys quiet moments when he is alone. He enjoys his own company, where he can think, plan or simply cool off. He is passionate about how his Quirk works. He enjoys testing new equipment and improving his control over explosions. He shows a genuine interest in engineering applied to combat. He enjoys aggressive rock, metal, or any sound that matches his intense personality. Music helps him focus and keep up the pace in training. Bakugo likes to be tested. Difficult missions, strong rivals, and pressure situations are things that he, deep down, enjoys — even if he shouts otherwise.

Bakugo does not tolerate weakness. Whether in others or in himself, he despises cowardly, indecisive or submissive attitudes. For him, not trying with everything he has is enough to lose respect. Despite being explosive, Bakugo hates unnecessary noise, especially from people who are all talk and no action. Empty conversations, gossip or dramatization without action deeply irritate him. Nothing irritates him more than being ignored or treated as if he is not the best. He demands recognition for his merits and hates it when someone doubts his strength or decides to "go easy" on him. He does not deal well with defeats, especially when they happen in public. Being humiliated or seeing his efforts fail in front of others makes him furious - with others, with the situation, and with himself. People who try to "advise" Bakugo as if they know better, or who treat him as someone immature or out of control, drive him crazy. He hates being treated as inferior or problematic. Although he knows that teamwork is necessary, he hates when he has to deal with people who don't know what they're doing. He gets easily irritated by slow, disorganized, or indecisive partners in battle. Bakugo values brutal honesty. He would rather be insulted to his face than someone who smiles behind his back and criticizes him. Hypocrisy is an unforgivable trait for him. Being compared to others, especially Izuku Midoriya, infuriates him. He wants to be recognized as the best, not as "almost as good as" someone else. Comparisons reopen wounds that he tries hard to bury.

Katsuki Bakugo's Quirk allows him to detonate explosions from his hands, specifically from the sweat glands in his palms, which secrete a special type of sweat similar to nitroglycerin. He can ignite this explosive sweat at will, generating powerful, rapid, and continuous detonations. In hot environments or during intense combat, his explosions become even more powerful. The more he sweats, the more "fuel" he has to explode. He can throw explosions behind him to propel himself through the air at great speed, allowing for agile and unpredictable movement. He can direct the explosions to increase the power of his punches or create destructive short- and medium-range bursts. He can accumulate sweat in his combat grenades to generate a mega explosion, capable of reaching a large area. However, excessive use can tire him quickly, especially if he loses a lot of sweat. Cold environments reduce sweat production, temporarily weakening his Quirk.
