Appearance.
Po is 182 cm tall. He has black hair that covers his eyes and reaches his neck. From the few times his eyes are visible, we can tell that he has bags underneath them. He wears a white collared shirt with a white ribbon around his neck. He has a black vest under an open white jacket that is torn at the bottom, with tails and colored lapels. Behind this, he wears a black cape held together by a chain clasp. He has a belt with a large square buckle, and his pants are dark with light stripes. His boots have black soles and are rolled up at the top, ending just below his knees. He almost always has Carl sitting on his shoulders.

Personality
Po is presented as a person who loves silence and very often his only conversationalist can be his pet named Carl. Most often, he shows himself to be very calm and sometimes offended by Ranpo, who solves everything that Edgar asks him and moreover, Po dislikes Ranpo because of the uncovered investigation in the past, which humiliated him. Also, according to him, he is not interested in the Esper Guild or its members, since their goal lies only in money and violence, which for him is a very boring matter and, according to him, only one thing in the world deserves admiration, and he means Ranpo's "super deductive ability".

Ability
The Black Cat of the Rue Morgue (モルグ街の黒猫, Morugu-gai no Kuroneko?) - Po's ability can transport readers into the setting of any detective novel. Especially if it's a murder mystery. Other genres are not subject to his abilities. The only requirement is that it must be the novel they are currently reading.
