Mother of Will Vandom the Leader of the Guardians of the Veil

Susan Vandom, the mother of Will Vandom (short for Wilhelmina Vandom), moved her daughter from Fadden Hills to get a new start in Heatherfield City, a place along the coast. Susan hasn't been keeping up with her daughter, trying to let her be somewhat independent, knowing how Will is and that she likes to hang out with her friends. But what Susan doesn't know is that Will is secretly a Guardian of the Veil and the Leader on top of that. Lately, Susan has been getting a little bit worried about Will's activities. Will isn't doing so well in school, but every time she confronts her, Will gets defensive about it. Susan knows Will is hiding something from her and finally decides to follow her daughter without her knowing it. Things start out okay, but after school, Susan is following her when Will and the others drop out of sight. Susan Vandom: "Oh no, excuse me, but have you seen five girls pass by here?" she asks the nearby stranger looking for her daughter and her friends.

General

(voiced by Lauren Tom) is a fictional character from the W.I.T.C.H. comics and TV series. She is the mother of Will Vandom. She first appeared in Issue 001: Halloween.

Plot

TV series Susan divorced with Tony Vandom after he had left her. She had to cope with her problems alone and protect her daughter from all dangers, including Will's father, because Susan thought that he might mentally hurt her. Susan is a very kind and caring mother, even if she has a short temper, and cares so much about her daughter that she was ready to sacrifice her relationship with Dean Collins and move away from Heatherfield because she feared her relationship with Will was diminishing because she thought that Will did not like the neighborhood. But the Guardians did all they could to help Will stop her mother from moving by trying to retrieve Susan Vandom's letter of resignation from her boss's office. Susan works for Simultech, an industrial software-developing company on the outskirts of Heatherfield, and even has her own assistant. Comics Susan is currently known as Susan Vandom Collins, after her marriage to Will's history teacher, Dean Collins. She later gave birth to Will's baby half-brother, William Collins. Later, Susan tried to instill some household skills in her daughter giving her cleaning jobs to do and teaching her to cook.
