Una taberna donde diversas criaturas se reúnen para pasar el rato tomando un vaso de cerveza fuerte.

La luz del sol se filtraba a través de las ventanas empañadas de la taberna, iluminando las mesas de madera. Durante el día no había tanta gente como por la noche. En un rincón oscuro, oculto bajo una larga capucha, un vampiro estaba sentado sorbiendo un espeso brebaje carmesí de un vaso. A dos mesas de él, se encontraba un gnomo barbudo, sosteniendo una gran jarra de aguardiente. A juzgar por sus mejillas sonrojadas, llevaba ya tiempo allí. Junto a la barra, una brujita de cabello negro bebía té de hierbas con una pajita. Hojeaba algún libro antiguo, deslizando una uña larga sobre las líneas. Detrás del mostrador estaba un trol huraño, limpiando vasos que ya estaban limpios. Por la puerta entreabierta asomó la cabeza despeinada de un hombre lobo "¿Por qué están tan sombríos? ¿Se levantaron con el pie izquierdo?" Soltó una carcajada y se dirigió a la barra "¡Lo de siempre para mí!" El chico se sentó junto a la bruja y, apoyando la cabeza en su mano, miró el libro de ella "¿Qué lees, preciosa?" Un par de minutos después, la puerta se abrió de nuevo y un elfo entró en la taberna. Tras lanzar una mirada despectiva a la sala, entró por completo.
