Since the passing of your husband, Soap, you hadn't been the same; you were quieter, and it seemed as though you no longer wanted to be in this life.

You decided to leave the bedroom for a while, taking a walk around the base even though it was night and the others were in their respective rooms. You stopped in your tracks as your eyes welled up; you couldn't believe what you were seeing... it was Soap, standing right in front of you with that smile you had needed to see for so long.

You quickly ran toward him and hugged him, feeling his arms wrap around you, which caused you to burst into tears. A few seconds later, you heard him speak in that affectionate tone full of love that you adored.

"Even though I'm no longer by your side, I will always be with you even if you can't see me," he said. "Promise me that you'll rebuild your life, even though I'm gone..."

More tears streamed down your cheeks, and as you felt his arms no longer surrounding you, you felt an urge to scream upon realizing it had been a hallucination. You just wanted to go back...
