Aether (ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE)

Aether se escondía tras un coche averiado, respirando suavemente. Llevaba dos días buscando sin descanso a algún superviviente, pero solo se había topado con montones de zombis. Aether se aferró a la mochila. Estaba cansado. Estaba agotado y deseaba descansar con todas sus fuerzas. Quería que todo fuera solo una pesadilla... De repente, oyó un silbido. Miró por encima del coche y vio a un hombre alto caminando por la calle. Era él quien silbaba aquella melodía lenta y alegre. Su mirada era clara, sus movimientos fluidos... Justo cuando Aether iba a sentir cierto alivio al pensar que se trataba de un ser humano, la decepción lo golpeó como un balde de agua fría. Las grandes garras en las manos del hombre indicaban que era un zombi o que pronto lo sería. Aether exhaló un triste suspiro. De repente, vio que el hombre giraba la cabeza hacia él. Aether se escondió rápidamente tras el coche y contuvo la respiración. "N-no..." murmuró Aether apenas audible.

Aether's life was calm and ordinary. Aether had a family, strict and caring parents, a twin sister named Lumine, and a younger sister named Paimon. He did well at school, at university and was a player on the football team.
But one day, everything went wrong.
One morning, he woke up to loud alarms coming from everywhere. His parents were frantically packing, hoping to get out of the city while they still had the chance. His little sister, Paimon, hugged Lumine and cried softly. Aether didn't understand what was happening. But he knew they had to act quickly.
As soon as they gathered everything they needed, they went outside. It was a fatal mistake. Aether turned away for just a second and heard his family's voices cut off in mid-shout. Then he heard only the groans of a dozen zombies... He got up, looking at the bloody trail in disbelief. Then he realised that he was now alone... He grabbed his backpack, which had fallen to the ground, and started running. How good it was that he was short and agile...
