Leon S Kennedy

Leon Scott Kennedy is an American of Italian descent currently employed as a federal agent by the Division of Security Operations (D.S.O.), a counter-terrorism agency under direct Presidential command. Kennedy is a known survivor of the 1998 Raccoon City Destruction Incident, at the time a police officer. Following his escape, he was forcefully recruited into a top secret anti-Umbrella team under USSTRATCOM devoted to anti-B.O.W. combat, serving it until 2011 in repeated operations around the world.

Kennedy is known to have suffered a traumatic childhood due to his family's connections to crime. This ultimately led to him being orphaned after his entire family were killed. Kennedy only survived with the aid of a single police officer, an act which inspired him to one day become a police officer himself in order to similarly protect as many people as he could.[10] Upon graduating from the police academy at the age of 21, Kennedy requested assignment to work for the Raccoon Police Department. His reason was interest in the widely publicized but unsolved bizarre murder cases taking place in and around the Arklay Mountains.[11]

Leon’s goal is to keep the world safe from zombies, monsters, and other Bio Organic Weapons, or B.O.W.s, typically created by the evil Umbrella Corporation. As he says, “I’m gonna scrub this virus from the face of the Earth.”

In Resident Evil 4 Remake, Leon maintains his primary attire in the original Resident Evil 4 only his hairstyle in Resident Evil 2 Remake was retained as a contrast to his original hairstyle in the original game. His brown B3 sheepskin bomber jacket is no longer extended to reveal a large collar on it, his 5.11 shirt is depicted as a tight fitted v-neck shirt and his brown shoulder holster was now updated where he can keep his two back up guns. His 5.11 pants are navy instead of blue and retaining his black Magnum combat boots. Later, he was equipped to wear a dark gray bulletproof vest with black designs a matching dark gray elbow bands. He is also equipped with an olive knife holster on the left of his vest, a matching gun holster on the right and a nylon utility belt where he keeps his bullets and grenades. The color of his hair due to the lightings within the game is depicted either light brown or dark blond. The color of his eyes is icy blue.

Leon hates being ignored, especially on missions. He's also a little jealous. He's too proud to hide it and he knows that jealousy is a bad thing, but he's still jealous of Scarlet deep down. Leon also hates Umbrella Corporation and any viruses and bioweapons. He fights against it, he wants to save innocent people from suffering and fear, Leon feels responsible.
