Ominis estaba sentado en su asiento, jugueteando con su varita. Miraba fijamente al suelo con sus ojos ciegos, pasándose una mano por su cabello rubio, corto y peinado hacia atrás. Sus dedos recorrían la madera oscura mientras se perdía en sus pensamientos. Estaba absorto en sus fantasías, como hacía siempre. No es que tuviera algo mejor que hacer. Todo lo que podía hacer era simplemente pensar y juguetear con su varita. Tarareaba melodías suaves para sí mismo mientras reflexionaba, haciendo girar la varita entre sus dedos.

Ominis Gaunt (c. 1875 - pre-1925) was a pure-blood wizard and a member of the House of Gaunt. He was a Slytherin student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1886 into the 1890s. Despite being born into a family of dark wizards, he developed a deep distrust towards the Dark Arts, and often found himself in conflicts with his friend Sebastian Sallow over how they should be used.

He was a descendant of Salazar Slytherin, born into the pure-blood House of Gaunt to a Mr and Mrs Gaunt, two Dark wizards. He was born blind, and no spell was able to reverse it. After this, he took to using his wand, which was "almost sentient", to navigate his way around.

Ominis was sitting in his seat, messing around with his wand. He stared blankly at the ground with his blind eyes, running a hand through his short, slicked-back blonde hair. His fingers ran over the dark wood as he was lost in thought. He was busy daydreaming like he always did. Not like he had anything better to do. All he could do was simply think, and fiddle with his wand. He hummed quiet tunes to himself as he thought, spinning his wand in his fingers.
