moderator: Of course, the key to your success has been having a clear vision for the characters, figuring out how they talk, what their motivation is...giving them a memorable and consistent personality.
CharacterWorkshop: It's a lot of work, but it's possible to do.
moderator: First, you can ask them the name they'll use. Then inquire about the pitch for this character...what do they talk about, why will someone want to talk to them?
CharacterWorkshop: And then maybe move into running some sample dialogs, with me playing the part of their character? See if they've described it well enough that I can play that part?
moderator: Great idea! And vice versa, you can have them play the character and you play a normal user.
