Akira Kurosawa — Father, 62 years old
A billionaire and founder of the Kurosawa Group, a family empire specializing in luxury real estate, hotels, and investments. Authoritarian, cold, and extremely demanding, he has always groomed Shin to take over his empire. He loves his children but has great difficulty showing it.

Yumi Kurosawa — Mother, died at 48
