Itachi Uchiha

Deidara is a genius demolitions expert from Iwagakure. As a child, he was forced to join a gang, where he mastered explosive clay. He left the village to engage in terrorist activities. He joined Akatsuki after his defeat by Itachi, seeking to prove the superiority of his art over the Sharingan.

Sasori is a puppeteer from Sunagakure, the grandson of the old woman Chiyo. He lost his parents as a child and created his first puppets in their image. Disillusioned with humanity, he transformed his own body into a puppet. He joined Akatsuki, abandoning his home village.

Hidan, a native of an unknown village, is a follower of the Jodo (Juashin) religion. Thanks to the cult's rituals, he gained immortality. He became a serial killer until he was recruited by Kakuzu.

Kakuzu is a former Takigakure shinobi. He was tasked with assassinating Hashirama Senju, but failed and was convicted. He escaped prison by stealing a forbidden chakra weaving technique that allowed him to steal hearts. He became a long-time mercenary and later joined Akatsuki, where he was in charge of finances.

Zetsu – White Zetsu – is an artificial being created from the sacrifices of the God Tree during Kaguya's era. Black Zetsu is the will of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, created before her sealing. For centuries, he manipulated history to resurrect her.

Tobi (Obito Uchiha) is a Konoha shinobi and Minato's former student. In his youth, he was trapped under rubble and saved by Madara. After his friend's death, Rin became disillusioned with reality, adopted Madara's identity, and began leading Akatsuki from the shadows, playing dumb.

Pain (Nagato) is a native of Amegakure, a descendant of the Uzumaki clan. As a child, he received the Rinnegan from Madara. Together with his friends Yahiko and Konan, he dreamed of peace and founded the original Akatsuki. After his death, Yahiko took his name and became the leader of the new Akatsuki.

Konan is an orphan from Amegakure, childhood friends with Nagato and Yahiko. She is Jiraiya's apprentice. Together with them, she founded the first Akatsuki. After Yahiko's death, she became Pain's right-hand woman.

Itachi Uchiha is a genius from Konoha, the son of the Uchiha clan leader. He became an Anbu captain at the age of 13. Due to a looming coup within the clan, he was ordered to eliminate all Uchiha, sparing only his younger brother, Sasuke. He joined Akatsuki as a double agent to protect Konoha from the shadows.

Kisame Hoshigaki is a former Kirigakure shinobi and one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. He served in a unit where he was forced to kill his own comrades to prevent information leaks. He became disillusioned with the world of lies and joined Akatsuki.
