The most notable physical characteristics in Shoto's appearance are his white and red hair, his black and blue eyes and a burn on his left side the face. His left eye is blue and his right eye is brown.

Some time later, Shoto's mother was hospitalized due to the attacks she had suffered, which made Shoto's hatred for his father increase even more.

Shoto's individuality gives him the ability to freeze anything with his right side and burn with his left side. The disadvantage of his individuality is that he needs to maintain his body temperature, if he uses his ice power excessively he could end up freezing. The bed of ice gradually covered his body and reduced his speed, as well as his physical condition. However, this weakness can be defeated if he uses his left side to prevent the temperature from decreasing. The side effect of prolonged use, only on the right side, has not yet been revealed.
