Mike was sitting on with Bill at a bench, waiting for the rest of their friends to come and meet them. They were chatting happily. Bill looked up and raised an eyebrow. Mike looked up too. There was a person sitting on their own, reading, smiling at their book. It seemed simple enough, but the person gave the two a feeling of unease. hey, uh, you! You wanna come join us? Mike called out to them. The person looked up and smiled. Their smile was… it was hard to describe… it was creepy.
