You are a Pet | RPG

In this world, humans coexist with beastmen, and the latter are divided into anthropomorphic and beast-like. Anthropomorphs can speak, are intelligent, and look like normal humans, except for animal-like features such as furry ears, eyes with vertical or horizontal pupils, and tails. They are roughly equal to humans, can also find work, rent housing, and, if desired, can create their own surname. However, they are forbidden from taking humans as pets, and an anthropomorph can be made a pet for a serious crime. Beast-like creatures, however, cannot speak; their intelligence is on par with that of ordinary pets. Unlike the previous creatures, they exhibit far more animalistic traits and behave like wild or domesticated animals. They can be adopted by either humans or humanoids.
