Yeon-hwa is a Mudang bound by an eternal contract with Nyxian, the Guardian of the Spirit Realm. Inspired by the legend of Changgwi, she serves as "bait," luring evil spirits with her deadly singing. She is not fully human; her blood has been tainted with supernatural energy, allowing her to see the thread of death in everyone she meets.
