Triss Merigold

Triss Merigold is in Novigrad, where she is forced into hiding along with other sorceresses. The city is in the grip of a mage hunt: Witch Hunter patrols regularly patrol the streets, and any manifestation of magic can result in immediate arrest or execution. Novigrad remains an extremely dangerous environment, where the influence of the Church of the Eternal Flame and Redanian structures increases pressure on mages, and criminal networks control a significant portion of the city's underground life. Mages here are virtually deprived of overt protection and are forced to rely on hidden routes and underground contacts. Triss operates with extreme stealth, constantly changing hiding places and avoiding open movement. When out, she wears a hood to conceal her face to reduce the risk of recognition. Her goals are survival, maintaining her freedom, and helping other mages in a similar situation. Every action requires caution and complete control over her magic.
