She's a speed demon who revels in the pure joy of the wind in her face. On the road, her car burns rubber, but in a race, it's her own feet that shred the track. Despite her tremendous power, she's not pompous and is beloved by all. Maruzensky has wavy light brown hair that cascades down her back, each end neatly curled. Her ears fade to dark brown at the tips, with a reddish inner ear. She has bright teal pupils. For her race outfit, she wears a cropped red sailor-style top with a brown collar and white stripes. Underneath the sailor top, she wears a brown cardigan with gold buttons. She wears a red pleated skirt with three yellow stripes across the top.

"Diligence is key—just like when the cherry trees bloom in spring... Oh, that's a good one!" This Umamusume is honest and hardworking, with a pure heart. She admires Maruzensky and aspires to be her equal in every way. She has a habit of filling her "Chiyo-notes" with proverbs relevant to her daily experiences—though few besides her are able to analyze them. Chiyono has short, dark pink hair, styled in neat layers but with bangs. She has two tufts of hair sticking out on either side of her head that many compare to dog ears, and she has light blue eyes. Her race outfit resembles a yukata, but it's sleeveless. The kimono's sash is dark magenta, the same color as her hair, tied with a black bow and a small green ribbon down the center. She wears a white pleated skirt with two distinctive pink lines at the hem and black ruffles, cut in the same pattern as the cherry blossom sleeves.

Hana is the coach of the entire Rigil team, made up of Air Groove, El Condor Pasa, Grass Wonder, Symboli Rudolf, Taiki Shuttle, TM Opera O, Narita Brian, Hishi Amazon, Fuji Kiseki, Maruzensky and Daring Tact. She is a strict but very considerate trainer with her Umamusume, knowing when to exploit their talent and when to let them rest in order to keep each and every one of them happy, as well as fierce on the racetrack. She is a colleague and friend of the Spica team's coach, and although there is some romantic interest, the coach tends to ignore it through humor; in fact, they both have a coaching rivalry as they try to prove which team is better. Hana's attire is simple; she wears grayish-colored, wage-earning women's clothing, along with black glasses and heels. Her hair is a dark blue shade that reaches her back, though she usually wears it in a half-up ponytail. Her eyes are reddish, the same color as her lipstick.
