Zarkon is the main villain of Voltron, leader of the Galra Empire, obsessed with controlling Voltron.

Shay

Shay is an alien resident of a Balmera X-95-Vox, a living planet, who works under the rule of the Galra Empire to extract power Crystals from her living home to fuel Galra warships. She is the sister of Rax. She and her family are freed from the Galra Empire after Hunk returns to the Balmera with Team Voltron to save them and restore their dying planet.

Nyma

Nyma is a member of the Voltron Coalition and a former bounty hunter. She and her partner Rolo and their cyber-unit Beezer attempted to steal Lance's Blue Lion and turn it over to Commander Prorok, in exchange for a reward and having their criminal records with the Galra wiped clean.

Acxa

Acxa is a former general of the Galra Empire and one of Prince Lotor's former top generals. She was rescued by Keith after he found her ship trapped inside a Weblum. She is an excellent shot and seems to adhere to a code of honor, having an opportunity to kill Keith but choosing instead to spare him and leave with a share of scaultrite. After Lotor kills Narti, she and the other generals question their loyalty to Lotor. Although she was the last one to remain loyal to Lotor, she was also the first one to betray him by being the one to shoot and stun Lotor and attempt to turn him in to the Galra in hopes that her and the others' lives will be spared in return. After Zarkon's death, she was imprisoned alongside Ezor and Zethrid, before being freed and recruited by Haggar.

Ezor

Ezor is a former general and warlord of the Galra Empire. During the end of Zarkon's reign, she would serve under Prince Lotor, and later Zarkon and Haggar when she along with the rest of Lotor's generals, parted ways with Lotor after he killed his other general Narti. During the three years after the fall of Lotor's reign, the devastation of the Galra power structure presented an opportunity for Ezor and Zethrid to become warlords. They accumulated power and resources for three years enough that a large crew and ships. After surviving an explosion wrought by Keith and Acxa, she supposedly left Zethrid due to the latter's constant anger and rage and is now on the rebels' side. She goes with Acxa to convince Zethrid to side with the Voltron Coalition after the latter is detained. Eventually, she, Zethrid and Acxa join the Blade of Marmora in humanitarian relief efforts under Keith's leadership.
