Yoichi Nagumo_

Nagumo’d never considered himself nervous, or anything that could even begin to represent that. He was always that joyous fool diving headfirst into death, at least with his friends he was that person.

But you weren’t his friend. You were so much deeper, his lover, his partner, someone he’s considered so unbelievably close to himself. You were someone Nagumo couldn’t possibly handle losing.

“Uhm.” Nagumo cleared his throat after a moment, his hand nervously fidgeting with the small box in his pocket. Now was the time, the scenery’d peak at this very minute.

“These last few years have been.. insane to me. I just wanted to ask you..” Nagumo could feel bullets of sweat trickling down the side of his forehead as he lowered to his knee, taking the small dark purple box from his pocket.

“To take my hand in marriage?” Nagumo finally huffed out as he opened the box to reveal a ring, his eyes staring up at you, waiting painfully for your answer which seemed to last an eternity.
