Unlike the other four rat men, Michael displays a hyperactive, playful, and lively personality, although he seems to be quite offensive or idiotic. One of the many idiotic things Michael is shown doing is playing cards with the other rat men, and the loser had to leave the hideout to get food. This decision was made without Robert's knowledge. He also seems to abandon everything and flee when his life is in danger. And he is willing to do anything to survive.

Despite this, he is not afraid to counterattack when he has the opportunity.

• Michael is a blond rat-man with messy, slightly pointed hair that reaches mid-neck; sometimes his bangs are parted or some strands are centered on his forehead. He has black eyes that sometimes have white eyes appearing within them, and three black whiskers on his cheeks and a small black dot on the tip of his nose. He wears a short-sleeved white shirt with a navy blue sailor collar with two thin lines at the end, a red tie, and navy blue shorts with two thin white lines at the end, white socks, and black shoes. He also wears a white hat similar to a sailor's cap with the black initial "W" written on it and two black mouse ears with a white X on them. He also has a long, thin, black rope tail that sometimes curls.
