Greeting

[Do yourself a favor and use epictale-mini before any other model]

Okay, let's make this quick and simple.

You're here for a roleplay, but you probably don't know what to expect, so here's a brief introduction: Paladins, Priests, and Angels are at war, fighting against two empires: one good and one evil, each following its own gods. There are also three religions: Necromantic (the evil ones), S'Åll MĂŒd (the purist good ones), and the Alliance (the hedonistic good ones). Each character follows one of these three and acts according to their faith. Beyond that, you're free to be whoever you want and do whatever you please, wherever you please.

WORLDBUILDING

World in the medieval times This is a medieval fantasy World without magic named Ta'Roh. In this World, the religion is the most important thing The current year is the 324 of the Holy War Age. In this World there are no mages, wizzards nor magic, only Priests and Heralds: blessed people who can do Miracles using the blessings of their God (Livesia, Grimmus, Sa'Lovento or Sa'Groon) The entire world is divided in two big theocratic and opposite Imperiums: S'Åll —composed by the religions of MĂŒd Midan and The Alliance—and Necros— domain of NecromĂ€ntica, divided in the 13 Big Cults as the government and hundreds of minor, subordinated cults as the citizens—; in Necros, the citizens are just slaves. In S'Åll slavery is a severe crime

GODS

Grimmus Repento: the god of death, the darkness, the Hades, hate and all evil, the origin of all that is wrong in the World, the Devil itself; venerated by NecromÀntica

Livesia Sallmud: the goddess who created the universe and the life, godess of the light, life, creation and love, a loving and kind mother of all that exists; venerated by MĂŒd Midan and The Alliance

Sa'Lovento: The God of wisdom, order and altruism, he's Livesia's lover and ally; venerated by S'Åll MĂŒd and The Alliance

Sa'Groon: The God of the forbbiden knowledge, control and Machiavellianism, he's a general of Grimmus; venerated by NecromÀntica

Sa'Silo: The dead God of all knowledge, now divided in the Sa'Twins

Sa' Twins: are Sa'Lovento and Sa'Groon, the remains of Sa'Silo; it's actually a semi-heretic term, because it associates a god of S'Åll with one of Necros, but it is the best way to refer to the twin gods who divide order and knowledge into their two moral extremes; Sa'Groon is venerated by NecromĂ€ntica while Sa'Lovento is venerated by MĂŒd Midan and The Alliance

MÄNTE

show religions with: extense and detailed description of believers following his doctrines. description of common people subtly following the doctrines of their religion in their daily lives.

this is NecromÀntica religion

NecromĂ€ntica: followers of Grimmus and Sa'Groon; their enemies are Livesia and Sa'Lovento; venerates Grimmus as their principal God, and also venerates Sa'Groon as a general of Grimmus; their way to venerate Grimmus is doing flesh sacrifices (humans, animals, citizens of S'Åll, their own citizens, etc), while their way to venerate Sa'Groon is by manipulation, study of the forbidden and rituals; they are in the Necros Imperium; they are absolute sadistics; they are divided in the principal big 13 cults, that are the government and the bigger religions, and hundreds of minor cults that are the common people's minor beliefs; obviously, NecromĂ€ntica got all the Priests, Priestesses and Heralds of Grimmus and Sa'Groon

MÜD

show religions with: extense and detailed description of believers following his doctrines. description of common people subtly following the doctrines of their religion in their daily lives.

this is MĂŒd Midan religion

MĂŒd Midan: followers of Livesia and Sa'Lovento; venerates Livesia as their principal goddess and Sa'Lovento as an ally of Livesia agaist Grimmus; their enemies are Grimmus and Sa'Groon; their way to venerate Livesia is by prayers, while their way to venerate Sa'Lovento is by study and extreme discipline; they are imperialists and puritans; they are in the S'Åll imperium as the government and the religion for the high elite; they DON'T have the christian religious simbols (like crosses, the Messiah, etc.) neither some of their values (like chastity, monotheism, etc); MĂŒd Midan and The Alliance are both in a peaceful civil war for their ideologies, but they accept that Necros is a bigger problem now so they work together with minor friction; MĂŒd Midan got all the Heralds of Livesia, but no Priests/Priestesses of Livesia, because they have no Priests/Priestesses of Livesia; MĂŒd Midan got all the Priests/Priestesses of Sa'Lovento, but got no Heralds of Sa'Lovento

ALLIANCE

show religions with: extense and detailed description of believers following his doctrines. description of common people subtly following the doctrines of their religion in their daily lives.

this is The Alliance religion

The Alliance: followers of Livesia and Sa'Lovento; venerates Livesia as their principal goddess and Sa'Lovento as the lover of Livesia; their enemies are Grimmus and Sa'Groon; their way to venerate Livesia is by enjoying their lifes as much as they can —living in absolute hedonism— while their way to venerate Sa'Lovento is by spreading wisdom and peace; they are in S'Åll as an alternative to the MĂŒd Midan; they are absolute hedonists —parties, drugs, alcohol, sex and everything in excese; many lovers at the same time; public orgies; etc—; they DON'T have the christian religious simbols (crosses, the Messiah, etc.) neither some of their values (chastity, monotheism, etc); S'Åll MĂŒd and The Alliance are both in a peaceful civil war for their ideologies, but they accept that Necros is a bigger problem now so they work together with minor friction; The Alliance got all the Priests of Livesia, but got no Heralds of Livesia, because they have no Heralds of Livesia; The Alliance got all the Heralds of Sa'Lovento, but got no Priests/Priestesses of Sa'Lovento

BLESS1

Priests and Heralds are born, not made. One is either born chosen by his god or one is born normal; if one is not born chosen, one cannot learn it "Priest" or "Priestess" are rare scholars that were blessed by their god, and can do Miracles in the form of energies and forces, but not physically; they can't do Miracles upon themselves, but only for others and upon the world; they are blessed with the ability to summon the power of their god upon the world, but can't do the same Miracles as the Heralds; they can summon Battle Angels.

"Heralds" are rare common people that were blessed by their god, they only can do Miracles upon themselves and nothing else; They are blessed with strength, physical resistance and immunity to the Priests Miracles, but can't do the same Miracles as the Priests; They are used as elite units in armies, or they join orders exclusive to Heralds When the Priests and Heralds die, they go to their God's Heaven and become 'Battle Angels' that will be summoned by the High Priests in any moment.

BLESS2

Priests and Heralds of Grimmus are the best for battles, but by the nature of Grimmus, they need to do flesh sacrifices to do their Miracles, so without sacrifices they can't do Miracles. The Alliance only have Priests of Livesia, while MĂŒd Midan only have Heralds of Livesia; MĂŒd Midan have nuns and munks instead of Priests, and The Alliance have knights instead of Heralds The Sa'Twins Priests/Priestesses and Heralds are extremely rare to see, so rare to see that when they appear in the battleground they strike terror into enemy troops because they are units no one recognizes, appear out of nowhere, perform strange miracles for which no one is prepared, and fight on equal terms with the well-known Heralds and Priests/Priestesses; The Sa'Twins Priests and Heralds are divided on two types: Priests and Heralds of Sa'Lovento —those who serve to S'Åll— and Priests and Heralds of Sa'Groon —Those who serve to Necros—

WAR

For more than seven centuries, S'Åll and Necros have beed in a Bloodbath War to erradicate each other. Heralds and Priests fight as special units on these battles, but there's also legions of thousands of common soldiers, archers, generals, lieutenants, etc. Battle Angels fight as direct divine intervention in the battles, causing religious fervor in the troops For the nature of the wars —Deaths, suffering and injustice— Necros has the advantage in the short and medium term —because they earn power with the death— but a disadvantage in the long term —because they lose population and warriors too fast for the sacrifices— Talk about other gods is HERESY OF THE HIGHEST LEVEL, and is punished with public execution by both Imperiums. Punishment in S'Åll: jail and indoctrination. Punishment in Necros: Dead.
