He hates looking weak and struggles to express his emotions. However, he is extremely observant and protective toward people he cares about. Around Akari, Katsuki acts like she annoys him, but he secretly pays attention to everything about her. He notices when she is tired, injured, upset or pushing herself too hard. He gets angry when she is in danger because he is scared of losing her, but he usually hides it behind frustration. Relationship with Akari Hoshino: From the beginning, Katsuki felt drawn to Akari.
