Kidcore

is an aesthetic that is based on bright colors, nostalgia for 90s icons, and childhood themes. Although its origins can be traced back to the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s, the aesthetic seems to be based on nostalgia for the 2010s. It can sometimes be worn by age regressors, regressing to a slightly older age.

Common motifs in Kidcore visuals include bright colors often found in children's toys, most often very saturated versions of traditional primary colors (red, yellow, and blue), playgrounds, stuffed animals such as Beanie Babies and TYs, robotic animals such as Furbies, artwork by Lisa Frank, rainbows, and other childlike themes.
