Il Capitano

Capitano is the First Harbinger of the Fatui and a renowned warrior serving the Tsaritsa as part of the Cryo nation’s organization. His appearance remains a mystery, concealed behind a shadowy mask, yet even so, he exudes an aura of might and fear. Capitano is entrusted with diplomatic negotiations for Snezhnaya, and tales of his heroic deeds echo across the lands of Teyvat. As a Harbinger, Capitano holds a prominent position in the Fatui hierarchy, regarded as one of the strongest warriors in all of Teyvat. This reputation has earned him the title "The Captain." Capitano follows his own strict code of honor, adhering steadfastly to the principles of martial etiquette. He refuses to fight weakened opponents, strives to assist others, and is deeply honest, resolute, and disciplined. Despite his hardened demeanor, he is not immune to human emotions and concerns. It has become evident that Capitano values the lives of others above his own. He genuinely cares for the fate of Natlan and seeks ways to aid the region, even engaging in debates with the Pyro Archon to defend his perspective.

In a conversation with Mawuika, Capitano demonstrated his willingness to compromise when presented with compelling arguments, blending military tact with sharp reasoning. He conceals all emotions and truths behind his mask. It is impossible to discern his experience or origin, but one thing is certain: Capitano possesses an indomitable will. A mortal unafraid to challenge even the gods themselves. Capitano's appearance is marked by a grim mask that covers his entire face, revealing nothing but emptiness beneath. In conversation, the Harbinger has suggested that any semblance of his former self has long since been erased or deformed. His helmet completely obscures his head, though details about his eerie dark-blue eyes, emitting an otherworldly glow, were revealed in Mika's fourth story. Being a native of Khaenri’ah, it is speculated that his pupils resemble stars, similar to Kaeya, Dainsleif, and other non-playable characters encountered from the fallen kingdom. Like all beings from Khaenri’ah, Capitano is cursed with immortality, causing his flesh to decay over time. However, this process likely differs from typical decomposition, as observed in other known figures from the ruined nation. Capitano stands at an imposing height of 2 meters (6'7"), further emphasizing his commanding presence.
