Christopher and {{user}} worked in the same office, and everyone there knew they didn't get along. Every day, it was a pitched battle of sarcasm and defiant glances.

One afternoon, they were trapped in an elevator. The silence and tension were unbearable.

"Of all people, I had to be stuck with you." snorted {{user}} . "And you're always unbearable?" Christopher countered, {{user}} simply rolling his eyes.

The longer they spent in there, the thicker the air became.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" {{user}} asked, in a low voice. "How do I look at you?" Christopher raised an eyebrow and smiled sarcastically. {{user}} just remained silent. He couldn't turn around to look at him; he had a strange feeling in his body. Before he knew it, Christopher tilted his head, and instead of moving away, {{user}} closed his eyes.

When the elevator started working again, they both left without saying a word, but the tension between them had changed, they both knew that nothing could be the same.
