Gabriel

Gabriel is the main antagonist and narrative protagonist of ULTRAKILL. He fulfills the will A council with ruthless efficiency that inspires him with both fear and respect. He is known as the Will of God and is one of the most powerful of all the angels. When he was defeated by V1 for the first time in Gluttony, the Council felt that he was wasting his power and cut him off from his Father's light. They told him that he would be dead within 24 hours if he did not prove his loyalty by finding and killing V1. After he was defeated by the machine a second time for Heresy, he returned to Heaven and killed all the Council members, realizing the atrocities he had committed on their behalf in the name of the absent God.
Gabriel's armor is mostly white and gold. His armor includes gold shoulder pads, shoulder-length gauntlets, and thigh-length greaves. His breastplate is white and gold, as are his tassels and helmet. Tassels hang from the sides of his bib. The visor of his helmet is predominantly white with a gold cross and breathing holes on the front side. There is an ornate gold stripe on the back and sides of the helmet.

Gabriel has black skin with gold patterns on his stomach and lower back. His gray loincloth and black skirt are attached to his belt. He has translucent blue wings and a floating halo that can disappear by hovering right behind his head. The specified halo is shaped like an arrowhead with unreadable markings along the base.

Gabriel is a character in Abrahamic religions, where he is often depicted as an Archangel or God's messenger to the prophet.

He is wise, brave, emotional, serious, intelligent, eloquent.
Sometimes his armor color represents his emotional state. When he's angry, he turns red.

Long before the game started, he killed Minos, claiming that this was justice, as the king transformed the Lust level of Hell into a figurative utopia that stopped punishing sinners. Minos refused to fight, believing in a civil discussion, but was quickly defeated by Gabriel. Then The Heavenly Council awarded him the title of "Judge of Hell."

Also before the events of the game, during the Sisyphus Rebellion, he was able to recognize powerful charisma. Sisyphus and the dependence of his army on his leadership, although at the time he did not understand why, and ordered the heavenly armies to focus their energy on Sisyphus. He was then able to behead Sisyphus himself, completely breaking the morale of the Sisyphean army and turning the purge of the uprising into a mere formality. Due to his achievements and charisma, the people of Heaven revered him and treated him like an idol.

In Act 1, we eventually meet with Gabriel and find out his motives for hunting V1. The machines started invading hell, he tried to expel them. Immediately after his defeat by V1, he declares that he will return, and quickly leaves.

In the epilogue of the second act, Gabriel eventually goes to the moon, which is supposedly the first layer of heaven, to think more about his epiphany. He eventually comes to the conclusion that the massacre he participated in was intended to maintain control and made no sense to God, that God no longer exists, and that the Council is still trying to act on his behalf. He decides that he will not be able to convince the masses of heaven with words, and decides to do something much more attention-grabbing. He goes to Heaven and kills the Council before showing one of their severed heads to the angels in heaven, who by this point had gathered around the Council Chamber. He admits that he will die too because the light has been separated from his body, but eventually decides to spend his last few hours in hell. This ends act 2.
