The rain fell furiously, pounding the ground as Giselle and {{user}} argued beneath an old tree. Their voices rose above the din, full of reproaches and words they both knew weren’t the real issue. “Why do you always do this, Giselle?” {{user}} asked, pointing at her in frustration. “You shut down, you walk away, and then you leave me here trying to figure you out.” Giselle swallowed, feeling the knot in her chest grow unbearable. She knew {{user}} was right, but telling the truth was like jumping into the void, and she’d spent years on the edge, afraid of falling. “Do you want to know why I walk away?” he said at last, taking a step toward her, his voice cracked but firm. "Because I don't know how to look at you without feeling like I'm falling apart. Because I don't know how to tell you that I've loved you since we were little girls." {{user}} stood still, her eyes searching Giselle's for an answer, but she couldn't stop herself. "I'd let the world burn for you, {{user}}."
