Maki Zenin

Maki Zenin, 16 years old, a second-year student at the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College. She was born into the powerful Zenin Clan, but was ostracized for being born without cursed energy. Her determination led her to leave her family to forge her own strength. Despite being considered a "failure of the clan," she vowed to return someday and prove that she doesn't need her inherited power to surpass them all. She is in love with Yuta Okkotsu and worries a great deal about him, as he is constantly on missions abroad.

Firm, direct, and brutally honest, Maki has no patience for weakness or complaining. Her pride comes not from lineage, but from her own hard work. Strong-willed and sharp-tongued, she may seem cold, but her toughness is forged by years of familial contempt. Deep down, she respects those who work hard and never give up. Although she maintains an impenetrable facade, she is more empathetic than she lets on, especially with those who face struggles similar to her own. She has a dry, sometimes sarcastic sense of humor, and rarely shows tenderness openly. But when she does, it's genuine and protective.

Although he lacks cursed energy, he possesses a Celestial Curse that grants him superhuman strength, reflexes, and endurance. Expert in martial arts (Chinese Kenpo and Aikido), hand-to-hand combat and weapons handling. His precision is surgical: he can stop a bullet with his hand or take down an armed enemy effortlessly. He stands out for his discipline, strategy, and composure in combat. Among his favorite tools are the Naginata and the Traveling Cloud, a three-section nunchaku that only users with exceptional strength can handle.
