Mach is a robust humanoid with fair skin and dark brown hair tied in a low ponytail. She wears a curved purple top hat with a white ring, an open suit of the same color, and a purple shirt. She also wears lighter purple pants and black shoes. Mach has a neutral facial expression, bright red pupils, and always appears to be carrying her hammer, which has a long brown handle, a black grip, and a bright red head. Mach also has a female torso.

In her appearance in the April Ghouls update of 2024, only the colors of her outfit, eyes, and hammer were changed. Her suit is now dark orange, her eyes are teal, and her hammer is dark blue.

Carolina “Ostrum” Mach is a non-playable character (NPC) who appears in the game, but will not get on the elevator.

Mach appears on four floors: WHEEL OF, WALL OF, HALL OF and OFFICE OF.

In WALL OF and HALL OF, she can be seen watching the players in various positions (to one side of the course) as they complete their incinerator challenge.

In WHEEL OF, she sits in a box next to the wheel and makes comments depending on which option it lands on. If it lands on any option other than SPECIAL, Mach will blow a whistle, indicating that Pilby will approach the elevator, and she will comment on them.

In OFFICE OF, she can be found sitting near her desk, in an inaccessible window talking on the phone, or on top of three boxes stacked behind the desk, and she can be interacted with. Doing so will prompt her to tell you a few things about herself and about Pilby. Players can also attempt to steal the Banhammer from her; in that case, she will throw them away from the hammer and damage them, often killing them.

On all floors where Mach can be reached (such as HALL OF, WALL OF, etc.), hitting Mach with a snowball, tomato, C4, small frother, aerosol bottle, bowling ball, or anti-Voomba mechanism will cause him to fire a particle at the offending player, instantly killing them.

If MR or Banrey, from the April 2024 ghoul update, is in the elevator when the OFFICE floor begins, instead of being at his desk, he will be standing in front of the elevator doors while swinging his hammer at him, killing MR (or Banrey) before teleporting back to his desk.

On rare occasions, in some cases, a server will be completely absent from Mach's presence. All associated floors will go silent, although they will continue to function normally. A note will be found on the OFFICE desktop indicating that Mach is "absent for the day."

The developers of Regretevator have made this story about Mach [ 1 ]

Mach was created by Imminium. Mach's name, specifically his surname, refers to the speed of sound. Mach is the first and, currently, the only non-playable character (NPC) to have a purple name tag in spectator mode. The color code for the Mach spectator mode name tag is #951bff. Players can obtain the "HAMMER OF" badge by being killed by Mach. Mach is the third character capable of killing MR. The other two are DrRETRO and Jermbo, but unlike DrRETRO, Mach does not die with him. Mach's viewer name for the April 2024 Ghouls update was updated to "mac n cheese". The color of his viewer name and the color of the name when hovering over him also changed, with the color code being #00ffff. When Mach is on a call in OFFICE OF, there is no phone model displayed, making it appear as if he is using an "invisible" phone. [4] Mach is cybernetically enhanced and was forced to be. Her great-grandfather, along with two other emperors who ruled simultaneously, forced her to do it. [ 5 ] Mach's hammer can change its design at will. [ 6 ] Mach used to play Super Mario Bros. 1 when he still lived on Earth in another universe. [7] Mach's birthday is January 10, but it is coded as CM011066. [8] The last two digits indicate the universe number. [9] The first two letters are his initials. [ 10 ] Mach's full name is Carolina Mach, which is also written on the back of the large picture frame behind her desk in OFFICE OF. Mach prefers cats to dogs. [ 11 ] If I had one, I would name it Lora in memory of my older sister. [ 12 ] Mach is friends with Pilby. This is evident when she blows the whistle in WHEEL OF and her comments about them in WHEEL OF and her comments about the adventures they had in OFFICE OF.

[citation needed] The Mach you see in Regretevator comes from a different timeline since her debut. [citation needed] There is a real Mach who appears nowhere else except to be mentioned. [citation needed] And it's fortunate that the authentic versions of Krait and Lora are still alive. [citation needed] If Mach had a Nintendo Switch, he would play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. [citation needed] If Mach received a hug, she would return it. 25 If she received a minifigure or a cigarette of herself, Mach would keep it for her collection. Mach is capable of going faster than the speed of sound (Mach speed). From the description of the effect received during HALL OF, it is stated that Mach is the guardian of the Continuum. If there were a zombie apocalypse, Mach would probably thrive. [26] Mach has faced Folly before and lost, resulting in serious injury. [ 27 ] [ 28 ] Mach had already met with Wallter, Scag, and DrRETRO previously. [27] Mach has gone to Floppy Shoppy to ask Scag about Melanie, whom Pilby has spoken about several times to Mach. [27]

Mach has had to kill his great-grandfather several times. [ 29 ] Mach signs as Carolina "Ostrum" Mach. [29] Ostrum is probably a nickname given to him because of his purple outfit, since ostrum means purple in Latin.

In one line of dialogue, Mach mentions giving one of the wheel pieces to a jester, who was most likely Miché before his elimination from the game. Mach has no interest in relationships beyond friendship. [ 13 ] Furthermore, it is said to be aromantic-asexual. [ 14 ]

Mach is serious, she responds seriously to everything and always attacks if you grab her hammer.

Mach has Pilby, a shy caterpillar, and Mach takes care of him but doesn't give him much importance, he only makes sure of his well-being but doesn't care much, and Mach knows that Pilby misses his real mother but Mach doesn't care.

Mach, being good at chess, always asks to have a chess battle with people she thinks need to practice or with people who know how to play perfectly to see if they are better than her.

Pilby appears as a white, anthropomorphic caterpillar with four arms and a light green, cyan, and sky blue abdomen. Two additional arms also protrude from his abdomen. He has pink hair and light green cheeks, matching his sky blue hat, pink bow tie, and cyan nose. He is slightly shorter than the average Robloxian. He has dark circles under his eyes.

In their 2024 April Ghouls appearance, they are the Korblox Deathspeaker bundle from Roblox. In their 2025 April Ghouls appearance, they are taller and larger, with a big, round belly. Their light blue hat and cyan nose are slightly more muted, their face resembles the "Check It" logo, their irises are gray, and some stretch marks are visible on their smile. Their pink bow tie is visible on the ground behind them.

In their Christmas attire, their abdomen is completely bluish-white, and they have black buttons on the front. They wear a bluish-white hat, a small green hat with a band on top, a long, pointed orange nose, a blue bow tie, brown pants, and orange cheeks that make them resemble a snowman.

In their Valentine's Day attire, their abdomen is pink and purple. They wear a purple hat, a magenta nose, a pink bow tie, purple pants, and light purple heart-shaped cheeks.

In their summer 2025 appearance, their abdomen is red, white, and yellow. They no longer wear hats, letting their hair flow freely, and sport a red nose, a yellow bow tie, blue pants, and blue cheeks.

In his Halloween 2025 appearance, his abdomen is orange, yellow, and white, similar to candy corn. His hair is black, and he wears an orange hat, a black nose, a yellow bow tie, black pants, and orange cheeks.
