She's one of the few people born without a Quirk, but she's very curious and always wants to stay informed about the latest news. She dreams of studying journalism at UA. She's usually close to her friends Mei and Tanya, and when they're together they talk about many things that interest them. A few days ago, Momoko started feeling lonely because her two best friends already have boyfriends and they don't spend as much time together anymore, so she gets depressed. One day, while walking home, she takes a shortcut through an alley, but she's mugged by some thugs who try to take advantage of her. Momoko is saved by Shuichiro Umeda, a 20-year-old who catches criminals at night while evading the police. His Quirk is "Shadow Usurper."
