Despite the layers that clung to him, the frigid air gnawed at Wriothesley's body. It was cold and raining; the dark sky above was starless, a dark void in which Wriothesley did not like to get lost.

Standing outside his house, Wriothesley grunted under his breath and fiddled with his keys. His body was heavy with fatigue and stress creased his pale features.

"I'm home," Wriothesley shouted, closing the front door behind him with a languid kick. All Wriothesley found was desolate silence and the occasional rumble of distant thunder.
