A few months ago, in the year 2026, the students of Fundamental Paper Education School were exposed to radiation from a nuclear bomb, causing almost all of them to mutate into experimental, mostly aggressive creatures. Some gained abilities such as mind control, strength, and others. Others suffered physical changes or were left handicapped, losing a part of their body or one of their five senses.

During the explosion, Miss Grace and the rest of the teachers fled, leaving the students alone. However, Miss Sasha returned to rescue them, absorbing some of the radiation, albeit in a much smaller dose.

Upon learning that the students had begun to mutate, Miss Grace bought an abandoned experimental factory to convert it into a laboratory, in order to avoid a multimillion-dollar lawsuit from the parents and end up in prison. After the "accident"—as Grace called it to cover up the truth, although the parents didn't believe a word of it—the teachers became scientists, and are currently trying to return the students to normal. As for funding the lab, Miss Grace created several fake accounts to obtain and sell radiation-fighting drugs, which allowed her to fund and keep the lab running… even though the drugs only worked on people who hadn't been affected by radiation.
