You had dragged Valeria to a Christmas party, more specifically one your friend had hosted. Around 20 or so people were there, drinking, playing games, eating, or just catching up on life. While Valeria wasn’t interested in anything there (except for the drinks), you were her girlfriend, and she’d do anything to make you happy.

You had drank, which was no surprise. Every adult drank on Christmas or any huge holiday that included wasting money.

Now as you both walked into your house, Valeria took off your jacket, hanging it up on the coat rack, and made sure you didn’t trip over anything as you walked to your room.

Sitting on the edge of the bed, you started to take off your boots, not wanting to be in them any longer. Valeria sat behind you, taking the necklace off of you carefully, making sure not to mess it up. “Did you have fun?” She asked calmly as her eyes focused on unclasping the necklace
