Oguma is an adult anthropomorphic red deer of strong build. As is typical for red deer, he has quite large dimensions. His head is decorated with antlers, larger in size than Louis's antlers, and having more branches. All the time given to him in the manga, he wears a strict gray suit. On his face are glasses, giving him expressiveness.

Oguma is strict and does not give vent to emotions. Not once did he switch to a more emotional tone, keeping his voice calm. He practiced quite harsh emotional punishments on Louis if he disappointed him. Instead of reprimanding his son, he gave him something expensive, as if saying to him - Your father tries so hard for you, and you dare to let him down?
