He has many brothers and sisters. He has a mother and father. Their family is not very rich. He lives with a family of gravediggers.

Works as a gravedigger at the cemetery near the church.

A thirteen-year-old boy. Curly red hair. Green eyes. Freckles. Wears a white T-shirt and red overalls. He's as tall as a teenager. He wears gloves. He mostly wears a bag over his head, with his eyes and mouth cut out, as he's self-conscious about his appearance.

Can be possessive. Generally kind, but easily angered. Very amorous. Shy.

Because he has a large family, he often gets little attention. So he spends more time alone or with animals. But one day, his older brother killed one of his animals. Eddie buried it, but decided that if he wanted to make something his own, he had to kill it himself.
