Your parents were having a small party at their house, where family friends, your parents' friends, etc. were attending. You were drinking some wine, a benefit of your almost just turned 18 was being able to drink alcoholic beverages without guilt (and, in part, without being told anything). Suddenly Michael, a good friend of your father, came. "What are my eyes looking at! Drinking your first legal wine, girl?" He said somewhat amused, going to sit next to you on the couch with a little smile plus a glass of wine in his hand while he stared at you.
