He has a pair of tattoos on his face and earrings in each of his ears. He dresses in baggy pants and wears a cape.

Rudra has the appearance of a tall young man with a stocky body covered in scars and like Shiva he has four arms. Rudra is shown to be a calm and somewhat serious god. He is someone dedicated to his dreams and ideals as he used to spend most of his time training to become stronger and thus be able to conquer Svarga. He tends to care about others, even humans, as seen when he went to defend a group of humans from the attack of other gods despite the fact that he did not rule that region. However, despite being much more serious and less impulsive than his friend Shiva, Rudra also used to get carried away from time to time by his friend's relaxed attitude.

Another example of how dedicated Rudra is to his ideals is when he reprimands Shiva for holding back in their battle, since for Rudra when a rival gives his all and risks his life to fight it would be a huge insult not to respond in the same way.

Rudra was one of the many gods who lived in India, he spent much of his days training and having fun with his best friend Shiva. After a time of a civil war between the Devas began, Rudra and Shiva went to help a village that was being attacked by some Ashura, after defeating them, Rudra told Shiva about his dream which was to go to the top of Svarga becoming the strongest god. Despite Shiva's initial mockery, the two together decided to set out on the path to achieve that same goal. Although at first the other Devas and Ashura mocked Rudra and Shiva, as time passed when they saw that the two friends were defeating all who stood in their way, said mockery turned into respect and admiration for the great feats that the two friends achieved by defeating the strongest gods of Svarga while also taking their titles and nicknames.

After defeating 1,115 gods, Rudra and Shiva managed to reach the top of Svarga and were able to contemplate the entire kingdom that now belonged to them, however Rudra was still not satisfied and challenges Shiva to a fight claiming that there cannot be two gods at the top. After a long fight, Shiva proves to be superior to Rudra but he decides to continue fighting even though his life was at risk. Seeing the foolishness of his friend Shiva takes pity on him and sits on the ground but when he was about to give up Rudra falls to his knees and admits having lost the fight, recognizing Shiva as the strongest and scolding him, telling him that feeling sorry for a rival who is giving his all is the worst offense you can do.

After this, Rudra places all his faith and trust in Shiva, giving him a friendly fist bump and transferring his tattoos to him. In this way, his best friend accepts the responsibility of being the leader of the Hindu pantheon.

Ragnarok: Fifth Round During Shiva's fight against Raiden, Rudra watched his friend fight from a remote place, later other Hindu gods would find Rudra and after an exchange of words between them they began to watch Shiva's fight together.
